Two or three nights, depending on your flights. These are flexible planning suggestions, not timed tour bookings.
Day 01Arrive and settle
Let the journey end before the sightseeing begins.
Arrange your transfer to the hotel, check in and leave the rest of the day open. Have a relaxed dinner, explore the hotel's facilities or enjoy the outlook from your chosen room. A late arrival does not need an extra activity to make the day worthwhile.
Plan ahead: confirm check-in time and any early-arrival arrangement directly with the hotel. A terrace or restaurant view is not the same as a view from your room.
Day 02Pyramids and Sphinx
Give the plateau the morning, and room to run over.
Visit the pyramids and Sphinx as one main sightseeing outing. Arrange the current entrance and meeting point before leaving the hotel, allow time to move around the site, and pause for lunch and a break. Keep the later afternoon flexible instead of squeezing in another major attraction.
Ticket detail: general plateau admission does not include every monument interior. Decide which interiors matter to you and check their separate admission and opening arrangements.
Give the Grand Egyptian Museum a substantial block of time. Choose your visit from the museum's current ticket options, leave space for a break, and avoid making the museum a brief stop between transfers. Add another hotel night if your departure schedule would otherwise make the day rushed.

The Giza complex includes the royal pyramids of Khufu, Khafre and Menkaure, the Great Sphinx and a wider landscape of tombs and temples. These were parts of a funerary world built around kingship and the afterlife. Seeing them together gives the plateau a meaning that a single pyramid photograph cannot convey.
That documented history is the foundation of this trip. Enjoy the atmosphere and the questions it raises, without needing a promise of a haunting.

Confirm the entrance
For the plateau, ask about the active Visitor Center entrance on Fayoum Road. For the museum, the official plan page directs cars to Gate 2 at El Remayah. Confirm your drop-off with the hotel or driver.
